  • 1 16.5 oz  Duncan Hines Yellow Cake
  • 1 8 oz container of mascarpone whipped with 1 tablespoon of sugar
  • 4 eggs beaten
  • 1/2 cup of veg oil
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1.7 oz flour 4 teaspoons
  • 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup

 

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F and grease a 12 inch bundt pan with a baking spray and sprinkle 1 teaspoon of sugar.
  2. In the bowl of a stand mixer, fitted with the paddle attachment, or with a hand mixer beat the mascarpone and sugar together for 2 mins till smooth.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl except chocolate syrup.
  4. Add the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, milk, vanilla extract and flour to the bowl and mix on medium speed for 1 min. Stop and scape the side of the bowl and continue to beat on medium speed for 3 mins till the batter is well combined.
  5. Pour half the batter into a greased bundt cake pan.
  6. Add the chocolate syrup to the remaining batter. Mix it well together. Add the chocolate mix to the batter in the bundt cake pan . With a fork swirl the chocolate mix gently into the vanilla mix and cook at  350 F for  50-60 mins. Check the cake after 40 mins. If the top is getting too brown cover with foil and rotate the pan till the cake is done. Cake is done when cake insert comes out clean.
